The Foundation for Pluralism is a nongovernmental, non-profit and nonpartisan organization, founded in March 1994, which promotes political, cultural and ethnic pluralism, independent press and market economy.

Current activities:
Young musicians in dialogue
Foundation for Pluralism in partnership with the Art Museum of Prahova County - "Ion Ionescu-Quintus" runs the cultural education project "Young musicians in dialogue"€ from May to October 2013. The project is funded by The Administration of the National Cultural Fund and aims to meet the cultural needs of local communities, in particular those with limited access to culture, to be in contact with Romanian and universal cultural values.

Six cultural events are organized in the form of chamber recitals, coupled with public lectures supported by well known personalities in the local community. The six events held in Bucharest and Prahova County (Ploiesti, Busteni and Sinaia), and the public access to these events is free.

The project promotes young musicians aged between 14 and 28 years old at the beginning of their career (including onset artistic), and public readings in cultural spaces non-formal, supported by prominent leaders of the communities targeted by the project.

FpP is a member of the Centers for Pluralism Network, founded by the Institute for Democracy in Eastern Europe (IDEE), which includes nongovernmental organizations from Central and Eastern Europe and Central Asia.


FpP este din 1996 partenerul roman al organizatiei bi-partizane americane American Council for Young Political Leaders, cu care deruleaza un program de vizite de studii pentru tinerii politicieni romani si americani.

FpP a stabilit in 1997 un parteneriat cu The German Marshall Fund of The United States, in cadrul caruia s-a derulat programul de burse Marshall Memorial Fellowship adresat tinerilor politicieni, jurnalisti, lideri de opinie si intreprinzatori. Din martie 2009 programul de burse este derulat de Black Sea Trust for Regional Cooperation din Bucuresti.
